Rates
$150 per 50-minute session for psychotherapy services. Charges for therapy services beyond 50-minute session length will be adjusted accordingly.
Court-mandated co-parenting therapy and collaborative law services are provided at $200 per hour.
Insurance
I am not a participant in any insurance plans, which means I am not an 'in network provider'. However, I am able to provide clients with required documents to submit to their insurance providers to receive reimbursement for therapy fees. Potential clients wishing to obtain reimbursement from their insurance company are encouraged to confirm their specific plan benefits prior to beginning therapy. I also encourage clients to be aware of the fact that insurance plans only reimburse for therapy services when a mental health diagnosis is warranted for at least one individual client participating in therapy. Otherwise, insurance companies do not consider therapy to be "medically necessary" and will reject the claim. If, in my professional opinion, there is not a legitimate mental health diagnosis that is appropriate to name as the target of therapy, I will not be able to provide claim information.
Reduced Fee
I do not personally provide reduced fee services; however, multiple options of therapy providers with fees ranging from $40-$120 per session are available within the Institute for Couple and Family Enhancement, including Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associates working under my supervision.
Payment
Cash, check and credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and AMEX) are accepted for payment. At your initial appointment, you will be asked to complete a billing agreement including credit card billing information. You may choose to pay for services with cash or check as well, but credit card information is kept on file until termination of therapy services in order to cover any outstanding balance that may be accrued (such as no shows and late cancellations). Clients who do not wish to leave credit card information on file may opt to make a cash advance payment equivalent to two sessions' fees.
Cancellation Policy
If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified me at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
